The newest technology.
Precision in every detail

All Ortofon technical rubber production takes place at our Nakskov facility in Denmark, where production is set up for specialised items. We have laboratory equipment for own compound production. The production process is carried out by means of vulcanization (compression and transfer molding).

Moulds are developed and produced in close co-operation with the customer according to the customer's requirements and specifications. Ortofon provides technical support and contact with the mould suppliers.

We co-operate on tooling with technology partners, including high quality European toolshops, such as DanTools and Michael Lundbeck A/S .
We also have partners for simpler volume products.

High-Quality production

Rubber production is kept exclusively to precision components of the very high quality, an essential element in our supplies to the medical and hearing aid industries.

Ortofon works with many different types of rubber, including:
Silicone, Fluorosilicone, Bromobutyl, Fluoroelastomer, Bromobutyl/EPDM, Nitrile, EPDM.

The components are produced and controlled following specific customer requirements. All our rubber compounds are accompanied by data sheets, which cover the technical properties of the vulcanized rubber.

Quality of the
entire processes

At Ortofon, our rubber production exclusively focuses on crafting precision components of the highest quality—a pivotal element for our clients in the medical and hearing aid industries. The entire manufacturing process, from compound mixing to the finished product, adheres to ISO 13485 standards. Production planning ensures the fulfillment of targets, optimal resource utilization, quality management, and cost savings.
